Jeg er fra København og er en born and raised Amardreng. Som min lillebror poetisk siger, kan man tage drengen ud af Amar' men ikke Amar' ud af drengen. Det tænkte jeg som det første, da jeg trådte ud af Yarisen på en mark i Vestervig. Her blev jeg taget imod af Jan aka Havkatten, der driver Hawkraft Kulturhotel, hvor jeg skulle overnatte hele weekenden. Her blev jeg introduceret for thyboernes gæstfrihed gennem snakke om skak, judo og musiklivet.

 

Og brylluppet?! Hvilket bryllup. Ikke kun var Maj-Britt og Kristoffer friske på at få taget billeder i de fantastiske omgivelser, hvor de havde deres dagligdag, de gjorde sig endda ulejligheden til at forklare en københavner som mig alt om landbrug, sprinkleranlæg og sammenholdet i området omkring Hurup og Vestervig. Det er bestemt ikke sidste gang. jeg tager til Thy!
